MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
 

BY PLACING A BID YOU ARE AGREEING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO MY TERMS OF SALE.

 

BIDDING:

 Please be 100% sure of what you are bidding on BEFORE placing your bids...if you have any questions then please ask them before making your bid as no bids made by mistake will be cancelled and may lead to a negative feedback being given if payment is not received. All bids are final and legal binding contracts. All non paying bidders will be reported to Ebay using EBay's non paying bidder program which can result in your account being suspended.

 

FEEDBACK

PLEASE NOTE: It is my personal policy to only leave feedback once I have received feedback, the reason for this is because I found I was leaving feedback for all my buyers and I wasn't receiving any back in return, I would only expect honest feedback and I will only give honest feedback.. I understand that nobody is perfect and everyone can make mistakes and I am no exception to this so if you feel you need to leave a negative/ neutral feedback just get in touch and give me the chance to put right anything that might have gone wrong. if after you have contacted me you still feel you need to leave a negative / neutral feedback then by all means do so, if you have kept your part of the deal and not been abusive or unreasonable you will still receive your positive feedback.

The feedback scheme is an important part of Ebay, it lets buyers & sellers know which are the trusted Ebay members so it is important that any feedback is honest and fair. it is also worth noting that once a feedback has been placed it cannot be altered or removed, which is yet another reason why feedback should always be honest & fair

  NOTE: I display ALL questions and answers on the listing so please don't give any personal info such as email address or phone numbers in your question unless you don't mind everyone being able to see it, I can not remove the question once displayed.

POSTAGE

I WILL KEEP POSTAGE TO A MINIMUM, THIS MEANS THAT ITEMS WILL BE SENT WITHOUT INSURANCE UNLESS INSURANCE IS REQUESTED AND EXTRA IS PAID BY THE BUYER TO COVER IT, OR THE ITEM DESCRIPTION STATES THAT IT WILL BE SENT BY AN INSURED METHOD. I AM NOT WILLING TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED  IN THE POST, I ALWAYS GET PROOF OF POSTAGE AND ONCE IT HAS BEEN PASSED TO THE POST OFFICE IT IS OUT OF MY CONTROL SO PLEASE DON'T BLAME ME OR EXPECT ME TO REFUND YOU IF IT GETS LOST/DAMAGED. EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE BY ME ON THE BUYERS BEHALF TO NEGOTIATE ANY CLAIMS WITH THE POST OFFICE. ITEMS WILL BE POSTED TO THE ADDRESS THE BUYER HAS REGISTERED WITH EBAY UNLESS AN ALTERNATIVE ADDRESS IS REQUESTED WITH YOUR PAYMENT OR BY E-MAIL, SO IF YOU HAVE MOVED HOUSE AND NOT UPDATED YOUR DETAILS DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE YOUR ITEM - YOUR DETAILS ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP UP TO DATE NOT MINE.

postage is worked out at an approximate value as a lot of the time I don't actually know what the cost will be without taking the item all packaged up to the post office to have it weighed, this of course is not practical because I would have to unpack it all again to write the description/answer questions etc,  I try to get the cost as near as possible so you should never be paying much more than what it actually costs,  if you have received your item and been over charged on postage you can re-claim the the overcharged amount by emailing me at chrisheys@ntlworld.com

 

TIME LIMITS FOR PAYMENTS:

 PAYMENTS TO BE RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS. I will allow 5 days from the auction end before sending a reminder for payment then I will allow a further 2 days before filing a non paying bidder alert, then a further 7 days before re-listing the item and giving a negative feedback to non paying bidders. Items will be re-listed after 14 days from end of the auction if no contact has been received from the winning bidder. I apologize to genuine buyers for this but unfortunately there is a small minority of bidders on Ebay that makes this necessary.

PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED

Payment options are: PAYPAL (SEE NOTE BELOW), cash (sent at your own risk & well concealed & sent recorded or special delivery), postal orders (must be crossed for security), cheque or bank deposit/transfer (preferred). if paying via cheque please allow 4 - 5 working days after receipt for cheque to clear before item will be posted. no responsibility will be taken for cash or un-crossed postal orders sent via mail.

 If payment is made by cheque, postal order or bank deposit Item/s will be posted within 24 hrs of receipt of cleared funds - excluding Sundays, national holidays when items will be sent as soon as possible.

RETURNS

Generally I will only accept returns if the item was not as described, for example if it was stated as working but it doesn't...this in theory should never happen because all items are fully tested and all faults (if any) will be mentioned in the item description. If you find you have a problem with the item once you have received it just get in touch and I will do what I can to help.

No returns on any item/s that are auctioned as untested, faulty or for spares/repairs

 

if I do agree to a refund please be aware that I will only refund the cost of the item - I will not refund postage costs and the item must be returned at your own expense, suitably packed and with everything that it was supplied with. upon receiving the item back it will be tested and if the item is found to be "as described" the item will be sent back to you with no refund. if any parts are missing that was supplied with it but the item is found to be faulty the cost of the item will be refunded minus the cost of replacing the missing parts.

 RETURNS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IF THE ITEM WAS NOT AS DESCRIBED, ITEM/S MUST BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 (SEVEN) DAYS OF RECEIPT IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION. I WILL NOT REFUND POSTAGE COSTS & RETURN POSTAGE IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

SOME ITEMS WILL BE SENT WITH A SECURITY SEAL ON THEM, IF THIS SEAL IS DAMAGED, BROKEN OR HAS ANY EVIDENCE OF BEING TAMPERED WITH UPON RETURN, A REFUND WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

 

A RECORD OF ALL SERIAL NUMBERS IS KEPT

 
 I believe in honesty so you can always be sure that what you are bidding on is "as stated" in the description, if I say it has a fault I will describe the fault to the best of my knowledge in the same way that if I say it has been tested working it will be working - I have built up a good feedback rating with happy people who have bought from me and I have nothing to gain from lying or compromising the truth.
